TERMS & CONDITIONS 

APPOINTMENT BOOKING DEPOSIT and SESSION FEE: A booking deposit of $100 or a session fee will be required to secure and hold your Portrait Experience appointments. This deposit or fee ensures your commitment to the scheduled appointments. If you have a gift certificate the deposit is refundable, provided that you have completed both your portrait session and design consultation at the correctly scheduled time and date. Failure to attend or complete your scheduled appointments or failure to cancel within 7 days of your appointments, will result in the forfeiture of your booking deposit or session fee and any promotional gift certificate or special discount offers.

COMPETITION ENTRIES: Entries are only open to persons 18 years and over, who are residents of Hawke’s Bay and have not had a portrait experience with Karyn Worthington Photography or any other Photographer within the last 12 months. Late entries will not be accepted. Entry forms not properly completed will be rejected. Copies will not be accepted. Prize winners will be notified by email or phone. The decision of the studio will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

WHOLE FAMILY POLICY: When redeeming a gift certificate that has been won in a giveaway or other promotion,  Karyn Worthington Photography requires the full family attend both the session as well as the ordering appointment as per the promotional terms and conditions stated. 

NON-TRANSFERABLE: Gift certificates that have been won or gifted by Karyn Worthington Photography are NON Transferable and can not be transferred or gifted to another person. They are not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent. The vouchers and gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, prize or promotion. Only one (1) Gift Certificate can be used at a time.  You cannot use the Gift Certificate to purchase products from any other photo sessions unless expressly stated in the promotional terms and conditions.  

CELL PHONES AND PERSONAL CAMERAS: During your session, please keep phones and personal cameras away while I’m photographing. This helps keep everyone focused, relaxed and engaged, and allows me to capture the natural moments and connections that make your photos special. It means I can focus fully on creating the best images for you, without other cameras or phones competing for attention.

​PROMOTIONAL GIFT CERTIFICATES & SPECIAL DISCOUNT OFFERS: Must be redeemed prior to the expiry date specified on the Gift Certificate or by the Special Offer deadline, provided the holder has not had a portrait experience with Karyn Worthington Photography or any other Photographer in the last 12 months. Promotional Gift Certificates and Discount Offers cannot be used for commercial photography. One Gift Certificate/Discount Offer per household. One Gift Certificate/Discount Offer per Portrait Experience. Prizes are non-transferable and are not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other separate offer or promotion.

NON-ATTENDANCE POLICY: If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. Non-attendance without notice will result in the loss of your booking deposit and any special offers associated with your session.
